1000V DC Surge Protector 40KA

Rated for photovoltaic DC systems up to 1000V, this surge protective device delivers a nominal discharge current of 20kA and peak surge handling capability of 40kA (8/20μs waveform). Its physical dimensions are 90mm × 36mm × 65mm, and it weighs 350g. Constructed with UL94 V-0 flame-retardant plastic housing, it meets stringent safety requirements for enclosure integration. The 2-pole (2P) configuration supports straightforward DIN rail mounting without additional brackets or hardware. A clear visual window provides immediate status feedback: green indicates active protection; red signals end-of-life or thermal disconnection — no multimeter or system shutdown required. Ideal for protecting solar string outputs, DC isolators, and inverter inputs in residential, commercial, and utility-scale PV installations across the UK and EU markets.
