20A CV Boost Converter Regulator

This constant-voltage (CV) DC-DC boost converter provides precise, stable output voltage regulation across its full 12–80V range, with user-adjustable current limiting from 0.5A to 20A. Input voltage flexibility spans 8–60V DC, enabling integration into diverse power architectures — from automotive 12V systems to telecom 48V racks. Maximum output power reaches 1200W (60V × 20A), scaling proportionally with input voltage (e.g., 24V × 20A = 480W). Its metal housing aids thermal transfer, and four 3mm mounting holes allow rigid panel or chassis installation. Solderless output terminals simplify field wiring and reduce contact resistance. Switching at 150kHz enables tight voltage regulation and minimal ripple. Efficiency reaches up to 95% under favourable conditions (moderate voltage differential, near-rated load). Quiescent consumption stays low at 15mA (12–20V input); rises gradually as output voltage increases. Designed for wide ambient operation (-40°C to +85°C), but thermal management is essential above 15A or high-ratio boosts (e.g., 12V→72V). Overcurrent protection is adjustable and responds with foldback (≥5A maintained); short-circuit protection combines internal logic and a 20A input fuse. Output backflow blocking is native — no external diode needed for charging applications. Reverse polarity input protection is not included. Two modules may be paralleled for up to 30A total output, each set to 15A — ideal for scaling power without sacrificing regulation accuracy or protection granularity.
