2P DC Photovoltaic Surge Protector

A dedicated 2-pole surge protective device for DC-side photovoltaic protection, rated for continuous operation at up to 1000V DC. Designed for DIN-rail mounting (35mm), each unit occupies minimal panel space and weighs approximately 350g. The housing is constructed from UL94 V-0 certified polycarbonate, offering high dielectric strength and flame resistance. Core protection metrics: maximum discharge current 40kA (8/20μs), nominal discharge current 20kA, and voltage protection level ≤3.5kV. Operational status is shown via an unambiguous visual window — green for normal operation, red for activated or end-of-life condition. Meets IEC 61643-31 and is intended for use in PV generator circuits, DC combiners, and inverter input stages — installation must be performed by a competent person in accordance with BS 7671 and manufacturer instructions.
