30cm Studio-Outdoor 5-Surface Disc

A 30cm round, dual-sided collapsible reflector crafted for photographers balancing controlled studio precision with spontaneous outdoor execution. Frame built from tempered steel wire with matte anti-glare coating; fabric is 190T polyester with UV-stabilised dye for long-term colour retention. Fully collapsible to 2.3cm thickness and stores in included drawstring pouch. Five optical surfaces: high-reflectivity silver, skin-tone-enhancing gold, neutral white, shadow-defining black, and soft-diffusion translucent — all permanently mounted and precisely tensioned. The translucent diffuser produces feathered, wraparound light that lowers contrast ratio by ~1.5 stops — ideal for bridging exposure gaps between subject and background in backlit situations. Silver surface reflects sharply defined highlights for texture emphasis on fabrics or architectural details; gold surface subtly elevates midtones without shifting hue — especially effective under UK’s prevalent north-facing window light or overcast skies; white surface delivers gentle, wide-angle fill for group shots or flat-lays; black surface acts as a negative fill to carve shape and depth. No adhesive layers or removable inserts — all surfaces are integral to the disc’s structure. Used by UK-based product photographers for Amazon lifestyle imagery, by portrait shooters for park sessions across Greater London, and by educators demonstrating lighting fundamentals in classroom workshops — its intuitive handling and predictable output make it equally valuable for beginners and seasoned professionals.
