32 Oz Glass+Steel Fermentation Kit

This 32 oz (946 ml) fermentation kit combines thick transparent glass construction with premium 304 stainless steel hardware: a wide-mouth fermentation lid, calibrated glass weights, and a food-grade polycarbonate airlock. Jar height approx. 15 cm, diameter approx. 9 cm (±1–3 cm); total weight approx. 680 g. All parts are sourced and tested as a unified system — no adaptation or modification required. The airlock relies on water as its sole operational medium: half-fill ensures steady CO₂ venting while blocking oxygen ingress — creating ideal conditions for lactic acid bacteria proliferation and inhibiting unwanted aerobic microbes. After primary fermentation, the silicone plug replaces the airlock in the lid’s port, transforming the jar into a sealed storage unit that locks in acidity, texture, and beneficial microflora. Validated across multiple fermentation categories: from classic sauerkraut and fermented onions to experimental ferments like fermented blueberries or turmeric-carrot blends — delivering reproducible results whether used in a UK kitchen, apartment balcony, or rural farmhouse setting.
