Two-piece 433 MHz VHF/UHF radio modem kit engineered for seamless RS485 extension. Dimensions per unit: 74 × 24 × 16 mm (shell included); construction: impact-resistant plastic with metal shielding. Power: 4.5–5.5 V DC. Interface: RS485 (5V logic, A+, B−, GND). Frequency range: 433–458.5 MHz; transmit power: −40 to +20 dBm (100 mW); receiver sensitivity: −114 dBm. Serial transparency supports 1200–19200 bps (9600 default); air data rate: 10–100 kbps. Built-in MCU enables AT-mode configuration (AT+ENABLE=1 valid only in first 3 minutes post-power-on). Supports ID-based addressing for flexible deployment: two units communicate peer-to-peer; three or more use master-slave hierarchy — all sharing same physical layer rules as wired RS485 (broadcast reception, single-transmit arbitration). Rated for −25 °C to +75 °C operation. Widely applied in IP PTZ camera control, Modbus temperature sensing, LED dimming systems, RS485 relay banks (R4D3C32/N4D8B08/N4D8C12), remote telemetry, smart metering, Wiser Home integrations, and electronic access control panels.
