60x50cm Acid-Resistant Bio Sponge

Measuring approximately 60 x 50 cm with a consistent 0.3 cm thickness, this black filter sponge is constructed from high-density, acid-resistant biological cotton material. It delivers dual-stage filtration: mechanical capture of particulates and surface area for beneficial bacterial colonization. Designed for durability in aquatic environments, it withstands prolonged submersion and mild chemical exposure without degradation. Its open-cell structure supports oxygen exchange critical for aerobic nitrification, while remaining adaptable across filtration types — from internal power filters to external canisters and wet/dry sumps. Also validated for auxiliary use in vehicle HVAC systems and domestic air/water purifiers requiring reusable, washable pre-filters.
