8-Channel USB RS485 Serial Adapter

PCB-mounted USB Type-C to RS485 conversion module supporting eight concurrent, isolated serial interfaces. Operates solely from USB bus power (no external adapter). Firmware handles COM port emulation transparently under Windows; no application layer changes required. Native support confirmed on Windows, Linux, Android (OTG-enabled), and macOS. All eight ports support full-duplex RS485 with independent TX/RX buffers, programmable parity, stop bits, and wide baud rate coverage (1200–6,000,000 bps). Status indication via two discrete LEDs: red indicates stable 3.3V USB supply; emerald green illuminates only after full driver load and enumeration — both required for operation. Constructed with industrial-grade PCB layout practices to minimise crosstalk and ground bounce. Visual differences (e.g., silk-screen font weight, black PCB gloss level) reflect normal manufacturing tolerances and have zero effect on electrical performance or longevity.
