90cm Octagon Softbox Honeycomb Grid

This 90cm octagonal honeycomb grid is a purpose-built accessory for studio speedlite softboxes. It consists of a lightweight black fabric grid insert featuring uniform hexagonal cells, designed to mount directly inside the front opening of compatible octagon softboxes. Hook-and-loop fasteners are stitched continuously around the full circumference for seamless alignment and stable retention. Its optical function is to limit off-axis light emission, thereby concentrating illumination within a narrower field — enhancing subject isolation, improving contrast ratio, and enabling selective lighting techniques without secondary tools. Best suited for professional-grade portrait sessions, studio-based product photography, and creative applications requiring structured light patterns and defined shadow edges.
