Its sensitivity is manually adjustable to activate at flow speeds of at least 1.5 L/min—ensuring responsiveness across varying water pressures and fixture types. The device supports five common UK pipe thread combinations: 1/2"–1/2", 3/4"–1/2", 3/4"–3/4", 1"–1/2", and 1"–3/4". Its sealed, waterproof design allows safe deployment in moisture-prone areas—including beneath sinks, inside boiler cupboards, or within communal laundry/utility rooms—while its simple inline fitment avoids system downtime during installation.
