This planer knife setting gauge combines magnetic stability with precise mechanical adjustment. Crafted from high-strength, high-hardness metal, it offers lasting resilience in demanding workshop environments. Two integrated heavy-duty magnets allow secure mounting on steel cutterheads — holding blades up to 508 mm long without slipping. Its ergonomic, tool-free operation eliminates need for disassembly: just position, adjust, and lock. Fully compatible with all major planer, jointer, and combination machine brands sold in the UK and EU, supporting cutterhead shaft diameters from 75 mm to 125 mm. Height adjustment covers 22 mm with 0.15 mm resolution, delivering dependable repeatability. Each of the two supplied calibrators uses a magnetic frame for instant, rigid attachment — stabilising the blade during final tightening and ensuring alignment remains unchanged through the entire setup process.
