Airtight PVC Post Protector Sleeve 8 Pack

This 8-piece set includes flexible, self-adhesive PVC sleeves engineered for direct application to 4×4 wooden posts before installation. Each sleeve features a double-layer structure: outer PVC film and inner butyl adhesive layer, delivering high tensile strength and resistance to tearing during wrapping and backfilling. Sized to cover typical below-grade sections (up to ~60 cm), they can be trimmed precisely for shallow or deep burial. The airtight bond prevents capillary rise of groundwater and limits oxygen diffusion — key mechanisms in cellulose degradation. Compatible with pressure-treated and untreated softwood posts, and suitable for use with gravel, clay, or loam soils common across the UK.
