Aluminium Audio Ducking Mixer

A rugged, dual-channel hardware audio ducking mixer housed in black aluminium alloy. Designed specifically for voice-over-music applications in broadcast, podcasting and conferencing. Accepts microphone signals via 6.35mm (dynamic / gooseneck condenser) and 3.5mm (electret condenser with 5V bias) inputs. Processes audio through a dedicated ducking circuit that attenuates background music on voice detection and restores it gradually post-speech. Line-level audio handled via RCA input and output. Operates on DC 12–24V (0.25W consumption); requires low-noise external power supply. Technical specs include 36dB mic preamp gain, 2kΩ mic input impedance, 50kΩ line input impedance, and 600Ω output impedance. Three rear-mounted potentiometers provide precise control over activation threshold, fade-back speed, and attenuation level — enabling repeatable, reliable performance across varied use cases and equipment combinations.
