Artisan Willow Basket for Small Bikes

Measures 22 × 16.5 × 15 cm (top opening), crafted from responsibly harvested willow stems. Light in weight yet structurally robust due to traditional weaving techniques — capable of holding everyday carry items without sagging or deformation. Compatible exclusively with 12–16 inch wheel bicycles: ideal for junior cruisers, petite-frame city bikes, and foldable commuter models. Fitted with dual adjustable straps made from waterproof, abrasion-resistant webbing — tested for retention across bumpy pavements and moderate inclines. Surface characteristics — including faint tool marks or gentle curvature shifts — arise organically during hand assembly and contribute to the basket’s individual identity. Includes one wicker basket only. Black finish is achieved through natural tannin-rich willow dyeing — colour consistency maintained batch-to-batch, though monitor rendering and daylight spectrum may affect perception. Measurement variance reflects handwork tolerance: ±1–3 cm accepted per UK handcraft standards.
