BNO055 9-Axis AHRS Sensor Module

This compact sensor module features the Bosch BNO055 System-in-Package (SiP), integrating a 3-axis 12-bit accelerometer, a 3-axis 16-bit gyroscope, and a 3-axis geomagnetic sensor. It includes an embedded 32-bit microcontroller unit (MCU) for on-chip sensor fusion and real-time orientation calculation. The module operates within a 3–5 V supply range using an internal low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulator and supports standard I²C and serial communication protocols. Constructed on a PCB substrate, it measures approximately 16.8 × 14.8 mm (tolerance ±1–3 mm) and weighs under 2 g. Designed for space-constrained applications, it delivers raw or fused sensor data — including acceleration, angular rate, magnetic field strength, and absolute orientation (Euler angles, quaternion, rotation vector) — making it suitable for smartphones, wearable electronics, robotics, and IoT edge devices.
