Brass T&P Valve 0.7MPa 99°C BSPP

Precision-engineered thermal and pressure relief valve measuring 83 × 42 mm and weighing 238 g. Housing and spindle: solid brass. Seal: high-temperature silicone gel gasket. Actuation spring: SUS304 stainless steel. Rated for continuous operation between 5°C and 110°C. Factory-set to activate thermally at 99 ± 4°C and pressure-wise at 0.7 MPa (102 PSI), with PN10 nominal pressure class. Thread specification: BSPP 3/4 inch on both ends. Intended for safety-critical use in solar water heating arrays, electric storage cylinders, heat pump domestic hot water units, and small commercial boiler circuits. When internal system conditions exceed either threshold, the valve opens fully to discharge superheated water or steam safely to atmosphere — relieving stress on tanks, pipes and heat exchangers. Once pressure or temperature falls below the reset margin, it self-closes and reseals without manual intervention. Designed for compatibility with UK Gas Safe registered installer workflows and aligned with CIPHE Technical Bulletin TB005 on safety valve selection for domestic hot water systems.
