This repair kit restores functionality to 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch pressure vacuum breakers (PVBs) by replacing the core check valve assembly. Contains brass (copper) holder, spring and retainer — engineered for compatibility with common UK-installed PVB units including models 765, 905-051, 765CBV and 765DBV. The brass components offer proven resistance to UK water chemistry, while layered plastic elements provide structural support under cyclic loading. Operates safely up to 150 PSI. Installation involves simple isolation, depressurisation via test port, cleaning of internal surfaces, light greasing of moving parts, and reassembly — no specialist tools or training required.
