Breathable Bread Proofing Covers

A 6-piece set comprising 3 round (25 cm diameter) and 3 oval (25 x 15 x 8 cm) cloth proofing pads, crafted from soft, untreated fabric free from synthetic dyes or chemical finishes. Lightweight yet structured enough to hold shape in baskets, these pads allow gentle airflow while retaining just enough surface moisture to prevent skinning. Dimensions accommodate common UK and EU bannetons — round pads suit 23–26 cm baskets; oval pads fit 24 x 14 cm to 26 x 16 cm oval baskets. Suitable for sourdough, ciabatta, focaccia, pizza bases, dairy ferments, and cold-fermented preparations. Due to handmade production, slight size variance (±1–3 cm) and subtle colour shifts under different lighting are normal and do not affect function. Clean by rinsing before first use, then machine or hand wash as needed; air drying preserves fabric integrity over time.
