Brompton-Compatible Chain Tensioner

A purpose-built rear derailleur chain tensioner made from CNC-machined aluminium alloy, featuring an 8-tooth guide wheel and engineered for exact fitment on Brompton P-line and T-line frames. Confirmed compatible with C-line models only following approved drivetrain modifications — always verify your frame generation and rear hub type before purchase. The unit replaces the need for complex custom linkages or DIY spacers. Its fixed-angle tension arm applies calibrated downward force to the lower chain loop, ensuring consistent chain engagement across all gears. Weighing under 95 g and measuring under 75 mm in length, it adds negligible bulk while delivering measurable improvements in drivetrain quietness and response. Intended for riders seeking dependable performance without electronic complexity, it suits both casual users upgrading from stock setups and experienced modifiers integrating internal gear hubs or wide-range cassettes.
