Cat6 Toolless Keystone RJ45 Jack

Engineered for professional-grade structured cabling in UK and European markets, this Cat6 keystone jack delivers full 250 MHz bandwidth performance with strict adherence to TIA-568-C.2 and ISO/IEC 11801 Class E specifications. Physical size matches industry-standard keystone format (45.5 × 23.5 × 22 mm); unit mass is ~12 g. Housing material is high-impact transparent polycarbonate — selected for dimensional stability across UK ambient temperatures (-5°C to +40°C). Supports 22–26 AWG UTP cables, both solid and stranded. Contact array is mounted on a double-sided FR-4 PCB for controlled impedance routing and reduced pair-to-pair skew. Gold-plated contacts (50 µin) ensure low insertion force and long-cycle reliability. Embossed 568A/568B wiring legend on lid enables visual verification pre-termination. The toolless mechanism uses a dual-action hinged lid: first, wires seat into dedicated grooves aligned with PCB traces; second, lid closure drives insulated displacement contacts (IDCs) vertically into conductor insulation — cleanly piercing without nicking copper — then locks into position with tactile feedback. No stripping, no cutting, no crimping. Fully interoperable with Cat5e and lower categories. Integrates with all major UK keystone systems including MK Electric, Crabtree, Honeywell, and third-party universal faceplates. Deployed in NHS clinic networks, council broadband rollout programmes, student accommodation builds and retail chain store upgrades — always where compliance with PAS 78 / BS 8300 accessibility cabling guidance and BICSc best practice is non-negotiable.
