Ceramic-Grade Textured Clay Roller

This roller is 12 cm long with a 4.5 cm diameter working surface and weighs 85 g. It is manufactured from high-resolution, layer-fused PLA — selected for its hardness, low surface porosity, and resistance to minor abrasion during repeated clay contact. The full-wrap pattern combines ornate floral elements and simplified skull profiles, engineered to avoid undercuts that trap material. Tested successfully on polymer clay pre-bake, air-dry clay at leather-hard stage, bisque-fired ceramic surfaces with slip, and cotton fabric with water-based textile medium. The handle geometry follows natural hand ergonomics, allowing thumb-index finger guidance and wrist-controlled rotation. Cleaning involves dry brushing followed by a quick wipe — no soaking or chemical agents necessary due to the inert, non-stick surface properties of PLA.
