Cerushield-Compatible Wax Guards

This set contains 4 black plastic ear wax guards, each measuring ~4 mm in diameter and weighing ~0.5 g. They are manufactured to exact specifications matching the Cerushield Disk V2.0 mounting geometry and have been verified for use with designated Phonak hearing aid receivers. No additional accessories or tools are included. The core functionality lies in their dual-resistance surface: engineered to reject both aqueous and oily secretions while permitting unimpeded sound wave propagation. This allows sustained audio fidelity across low, mid and high frequencies — critical for speech discrimination in UK social and workplace settings. Their role is preventive: stopping earwax, dust and ambient moisture before they obstruct the sound port or migrate deeper into the device. With consistent use and timely replacement, users report fewer instances of muffled sound, intermittent cut-outs or unexpected shutdowns — all commonly associated with wax-induced receiver failure.
