Clinically Optimised Dental Model System

A dual-component dental modelling system comprising an impression formulation and a casting plaster, both developed for consistency and clinical fidelity. Impression powder (12g per use) combines hemihydrate calcium sulfate, kaolin, and sodium alginate to deliver controlled viscosity and tissue-wetting properties; mixed with 30ml water, it achieves homogeneity in 30–45 seconds and must be placed in the tray within 90 seconds. Gypsum plaster (40g per pour) uses refined gypsum powder and kaolin to produce dense, fine-grained models; mixed with 14ml water, it flows evenly into impression negatives when poured slowly and vibrated gently. Both materials require 60 minutes of undisturbed air drying before evaluation or demoulding. Final models clearly present tooth morphology, marginal integrity, alveolar ridge contour, and frenum location — meeting functional adaptation requirements for subsequent dental decoration steps.
