This replacement colour printhead delivers dependable performance in Canon MG-series printers through strict adherence to OEM physical and electrical parameters. Weight: approx. 32 g; nozzle pitch: 0.042 mm; contact pad count: 48-pin dual-row configuration. The protective cover seals the entire underside — including nozzle plate and gold-plated contacts — and is removed only immediately before insertion. Functional testing includes 3-pass CMY solid-fill validation and diagonal line registration check on plain A4 paper. Installation follows standard Canon procedure: open front cover → lift carriage latch → slide out old head → insert new head until click. Confirmed for MG6130, MG6180, MG6230, MG6280, MG8180 and MG8280 models.
