Dometic Freezer Door Spring Replacement

Engineered as a direct-fit upgrade for ageing or damaged hinge springs on Dometic RM23xx, RM24xx and RM25xx series RV refrigerators. Constructed from resilient plastic and corrosion-resistant metal elements, this kit supports long service life in humid, salty or dusty environments typical of coastal touring or continental travel. Compatible with OEM part numbers 2002236004 and 2002236012, it installs without modification and restores intended door behaviour. Dimensional accuracy falls within ±1–3 cm industry-standard tolerance. The spring’s calibrated load profile ensures smooth, controlled door movement and secure closure — essential for maintaining internal temperature stability during transit. Supplied as a single-unit kit, ready for quick field replacement.
