Double Sided Barn Door Latch

This double-sided barn door latch uses a robust rotating bolt mechanism made of zinc alloy, housed in a black anodised aluminum body. Overall length is ~120 mm (adjustable via cuttable pin), width 35 mm, weight approx. 180 g. It secures doors by engaging identical strike points on both faces — ideal for bypass or single-track sliding doors where access is required from either side. The pin is field-trimmable to suit door thicknesses between 35 mm and 55 mm, enabling accurate alignment without shims or spacers. Its uniform black finish provides visual cohesion with contemporary hardware suites, while the metal composition ensures resistance to tarnishing and mechanical wear under regular use. Mounts easily using included countersunk screws; compatible with both residential barn doors and light-duty outdoor gates.
