Package contains two pelican hooks, each 100 mm in length and 3.8 cm in width, machined from solid 316 stainless steel billet. Surface finish: electropolished to Ra ≤ 0.4 μm for enhanced passive layer formation and visual consistency. Density: 8.0 g/cm³; estimated mass per unit: 122 g. The quick-release mechanism features a hardened 17-4PH stainless steel cam and AISI 316 leaf spring — fatigue-rated for >10,000 actuations. Intended for high-reliability marine use: pushpit safety gates, liferaft stowage, anchor lockers, and auxiliary sail control points. WLL: 950 kg; MBL: 3800 kg. Conforms to ISO 17847:2015 for shackles and lifting components; dimensional checks per BS EN ISO 2768-2:2013.
