Dual-Layer Ceramic Carbon Water Filter

Two replacement cartridges featuring dual-stage filtration: outer 0.01 micron ceramic shell for mechanical particle removal, inner activated carbon core for chemical adsorption. Each unit measures 10.5 cm × 6.5 cm, weighs ~280 g, and uses food-safe ceramic and granular activated carbon derived from coconut shells. Housed in a fully transparent, reusable polypropylene casing compatible with common UK faucet adapters (22 mm male thread). Proven effective against chlorine, sediment, rust, algae and live microorganisms like redworms. Maintains beneficial mineral content while reducing limescale buildup and eliminating chlorinated odours. Cleanable via gentle abrasion with supplied sandpaper — detergent-free maintenance extends functional life to 6–12 months under typical UK hard water conditions.
