Durable ABS IP66 Outdoor Enclosure

Built from high-grade ABS plastic, this distribution box delivers long-term resilience against UV exposure, thermal cycling, and mechanical stress. Available in three modular capacities — 5-way (16 × 12 × 9.5 cm), 8-way (20 × 15.5 × 9.5 cm), and 12-way (25.5 × 20 × 9.5 cm) — all share identical depth and profile for consistent wall-mounting and DIN-rail integration. Its insulated construction ensures safe handling even when energised, and the transparent grey cover enables continuous visual verification of breaker status. The lid opens and closes via a secure snap mechanism, requiring no tools or screws; meanwhile, the base includes an open-area knockout zone — permitting clean, custom-sized cutouts for conduit or cable glands without compromising structural integrity. Maintenance is simplified: no thread cutting or permanent modifications are needed for routine inspection or reconfiguration. With full IP66 certification, it resists high-pressure water jets and total dust ingress, enabling dependable operation in coastal, rural, or industrial UK sites — including external metering points, agricultural buildings, and street-level telecom cabinets. Widely adopted in mixed-use developments where indoor-outdoor continuity and compliance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) are essential.
