Durable pH Electrode for Field & Lab Water Testing

A rugged yet sensitive pH electrode suited for both portable field deployment and fixed-station laboratory use. Total length: ~120 mm; shaft diameter: 12 mm; weight: ~65 g. Sensing element: ultra-thin pH glass membrane with low-resistance formulation for fast signal stabilisation. Reference system: double-junction Ag/AgCl with saturated KCl electrolyte and ceramic junction. Must be cleaned exclusively with distilled or deionised water after each use; abrasive cloths or solvents must be avoided. Storage requires submersion in 3–4M KCl solution inside supplied protective cap/bottle. Activation before measurement: minimum 2-hour soak in pH 4 or 7 calibration buffer. If unused >1 week, rinse and air-dry briefly before storing dry — but never leave dry for >48 hours. Ageing effects include increased response time (>15 s to settle), reduced slope (
