Durable Plastic Mesh Screen Tape

Engineered for longevity and ease, this window screen tape uses a tightly woven black plastic mesh substrate with strong pressure-sensitive adhesive. At 50mm wide and 3.5m long, each roll supports dozens of small-to-medium repairs. The material remains pliable across seasonal temperature ranges and does not become brittle in cold or tacky in heat. It adheres best to clean, dry, dust-free surfaces such as aluminium, fibreglass and coated vinyl screens. Its primary role is functional restoration: bridging gaps that compromise insect exclusion while retaining airflow. The mesh weave mimics standard screen density, allowing light transmission and cross-ventilation similar to undamaged sections. For best results, apply patches slightly oversized and burnish edges thoroughly to eliminate lifting corners. Typical applications include repairing cat-scratched bedroom windows, fixing punctured conservatory screens, reinforcing aged patio door meshes, and stabilising loose edges on caravan windows prior to road use.
