Electromechanical Hygrostat 65% RH

This electromechanical hygrostat measures and responds to relative humidity with a precise 65% RH switching threshold to activate enclosure heaters and prevent condensation. Its compact housing measures 67 x 50 x 38 mm, is made from UL94 V-0 rated light grey plastic, and mounts securely on standard 35 mm DIN rails (EN 50022). It operates reliably between 0°C and +60°C (32°F–140°F) and stores safely from −20°C to +80°C (−4°F–176°F), with IP20 protection for indoor control cabinet use. The device features a change-over contact rated for up to 250 VAC / 5 A (resistive) or 20 W DC, with a minimum switching capacity of 20 V AC/DC at 100 mA. Its switch differential is 4% RH (±3% tolerance), ensuring stable hysteresis control. Air velocity tolerance reaches 15 m/sec — suitable for ventilated enclosures. Terminal connections accept rigid wire up to 2.5 mm² or stranded wire (with ferrule) up to 1.5 mm², with max clamping torque of 0.5 Nm. Designed specifically for industrial and automation applications, it integrates seamlessly into heater control loops where dew point management is critical — especially in telecom cabinets, outdoor kiosks, power distribution panels, and process control housings exposed to fluctuating ambient humidity.
