Expandable Lightweight Foldable Tote Bag

Expanded size: 40 cm (L) × 35 cm (H) × 15 cm (W); folded: ~9 × 5 cm in leather pouch. Weight: 117 g. Load-tested to 15 kg. Fabric: 210D high-density polyester, matte surface, double-stitched seams at all stress points. Leather pouch: 1.2–1.4 mm thickness, edge-painted, with stainless steel carabiner secured via dual rivets. Handles are cut 5 cm wide and folded inward — eliminating raw edges and creating a padded grip zone. The gusset opens fully to 15 cm depth, allowing flat stacking of books, tablets or folded clothing — unlike shallow-market totes that force awkward vertical packing. No internal pockets or zips to catch or fail. Validated across five UK regions (London, Leeds, Cardiff, Glasgow, Belfast) through 6-month field trials — highest retention rate among reusable totes: 92% of users reported still using their original bag daily after 20 weeks, citing ease of access and consistent reliability as key drivers.
