Expanded-Opening Lens Hood Hero9

This lens hood offers a purpose-built solution for GoPro Hero9 Black users seeking improved optical performance and lens safety in demanding conditions. Measuring 10 x 8 x 5 cm and weighing only 10 g, it is made from lightweight black plastic with a matte finish to suppress internal reflections. Its defining feature is the expanded opening — carefully sized to match the Hero9 Black’s wide-angle lens projection, ensuring full-frame coverage without edge shadowing. It reduces lens flare caused by off-axis light sources, leading to higher contrast and cleaner highlights. It also shields the lens from abrasion and light impacts during transport or action use, and helps mitigate ambient glare that interferes with touchscreen responsiveness in direct sun.
