This wireless door chime system runs on 4.5 V DC supplied by three AA batteries (not included), drawing under 200 mA during active transmission. Its tested transmission range exceeds 100 metres in typical UK residential environments — including through internal walls and doors. The push-button unit measures 8 × 5 × 2.2 cm and features tactile feedback for confident pressing; the slimline receiver (2 × 6.7 × 3.0 cm) fits neatly on shelves or wall brackets. Visual alerting is delivered via seven user-selectable LED flash colours — red, blue, green, yellow, purple, cyan and white — each adjustable independently of tone. Audio output offers 32 built-in melodies and eight-step volume control (peak 85 dB). The system uses power-based coding for secure, interference-free pairing — eliminating false triggers from nearby devices.
