A complete 900ml sourdough starter solution built around a thick-walled clear glass jar rated to 150°C. Package includes: one glass jar, one solid wood lid, one flexible silicone spatula, one temperature-sensitive paper strip, and one strong rubber string. The wood lid ensures minimal air exchange during cold storage, extending starter viability for at least one week in the refrigerator. For fermentation, the rubber string holds a cloth securely over the wide mouth — permitting airflow while blocking contaminants. The temperature paper sticks to the jar and shifts hue as internal temperature rises, offering real-time insight into fermentation activity. The wide opening allows quick addition of flour and water, efficient mixing, and full visibility of starter consistency and rise. Also functional for storing nuts, seeds, teas, spices, pickled items, and other dry or preserved foods.
