High-Temp Silicone Hotend Block Cover

A functional silicone cover engineered for the heater block of Volcano-compatible 3D printer hotends. Composed entirely of heat-resistant silicone, it withstands continuous operation up to typical FDM hotend temperatures without deformation or off-gassing. Its M-size form factor targets standard Volcano block profiles, with realistic allowance for production variation (0–1 cm). Installed directly over the metal heater block, it acts as a passive thermal buffer and physical shield — reducing thermal noise from ambient drafts, preventing nozzle-area contamination, and supporting repeatable extrusion performance. Blue in colour, it offers subtle visual identification without affecting infrared-based temperature sensing or interfering with standard tool paths during maintenance.
