The board can be connected up to all manner of sensors and switches as well as screens and LEDs, this allows for projects from automated watering systems to advanced robotics. Furthermore the Lilypad is designed as a wearable piece of electronics as such is suited to being sewn into textiles.The board is based on the Open Source Arduino project and follows the same exact specification. Please be aware that the board cannot be programmed without the use of an serial communication module.
