Long-Lasting ABS Pool Skimmer Filter Basket

This skimmer basket is crafted from high-density ABS — a thermoplastic known for impact resistance, chemical inertness, and thermal stability — making it ideal for year-round use in variable UK weather. At 24.5 cm tall and 18 cm wide, it occupies standard skimmer cavities without compression or binding. Its mesh structure is uniform and tear-resistant, designed to collect leaves, seeds, and insect remains without clogging or tearing under normal load. As a dedicated SP-1082 replacement, it replicates the original’s mounting interface and internal volume, enabling uninterrupted skimming action. The non-floating feature relies on integrated weight distribution rather than added metal — preserving corrosion resistance and compatibility with saltwater or mineral sanitiser systems common in EU pools. Installation is identical across inground and above-ground setups: no adapters, no adjustments, no learning curve.
