LSM6DSO 3D Accelerometer Gyro Sensor

A highly integrated 6DOF motion sensor built around the ST LSM6DSO IC, providing simultaneous 3-axis acceleration and 3-axis angular velocity measurement. Linear acceleration is measurable over ±2g, ±4g, ±8g, and ±16g ranges; angular velocity over ±125, ±250, ±500, ±1000, and ±2000 dps. Designed for 3.3 V operation (down to 1.62 V), it supports SPI (≤10 MHz), I²C (≤400 kHz fast mode), and MIPI I3C SM interfaces—with auxiliary SPI dedicated to OIS data transmission and hardware synchronisation for time-critical applications. Core intelligent functions include step detection and counting, tilt and motion event detection, and multiple interrupt types (free fall, wake-up, 6D/4D orientation, click detection). A programmable finite state machine processes inputs from internal and external sensors, and an on-chip temperature sensor supports thermal characterisation. Manufactured on PC substrate; slight visual variances in PCB marking are normal and do not affect performance.
