This expansion card unlocks USB3.2 Gen1 (5 Gbps) front-panel capability on motherboards lacking native Type-E or 19-pin headers. It installs into any standard M.2 Key-M NVMe slot and routes PCIe-based USB3.2 signals to your chassis front I/O. Dimensions: approx. 42 × 22 mm; weight: ~25 g. Manufactured with RoHS-compliant PCB and gold-edge contacts. Core controller: Renesas uPD720202 — certified for USB 3.0 SuperSpeed 1.0 and xHCI 1.0. Maximum theoretical throughput: 5000 Mbps; also supports USB2.0 (480 Mbps), USB1.1 (12 Mbps), and USB1.0 (1.5 Mbps). Requires external 4-pin power for full spec compliance and thermal stability. Verified functional on Windows (XP–10), macOS (10.8+), and Linux (kernel 3.10+). Strictly for M.2 Key-M NVMe slots — incompatible with SATA M.2 or Key-B slots.
