This TF (microSD) to SATA converter allows a standard microSD card to function as a SATA-connected storage device, including full system boot capability. Its compact form factor matches typical SATA connector dimensions as shown in reference images, with minor dimensional variance (≤1 cm) due to manual measurement and imaging conditions. It uses native SATA signalling — no external power adapter needed, as it draws power directly via the SATA power cable. Fully compatible with Windows 3.1, NT4, 98SE, Me, 2000, XP, Vista and multiple Linux distributions, though EXT4 filesystems and UHS-I microSD cards are explicitly unsupported. Setup requires inserting the TF card first, then connecting both SATA data and power cables before powering on; LED illumination confirms successful card enumeration. Any change to the TF card or initial deployment necessitates initialization and formatting within the host OS prior to data use.
