MKS SERVO42C Closed-Loop Stepper Driver Board

This MKS SERVO42C board is engineered specifically for closed-loop control of Nema17 stepper motors in 3D printers. It accepts 7–28V DC input and delivers adjustable current from 0 to 3000 mA. Built around a Crotex-M0+ microcontroller and 4 half-bridge driver circuits with 8 MOSFETs, it supports both 0.9° and 1.8° motors and offers subdivision settings from 1 to 256 — including uncommon odd values such as 11. With a 14-bit magnetic encoder, it achieves 0.08° angular resolution and closed-loop regulation of position, speed and torque. Maximum motor speed is 1000 RPM, supporting printing speeds up to 180 mm/s. The board’s compact PCB layout simplifies mounting and cabling in tight printer control boxes.
