This replacement position sensor is constructed from moisture-resistant engineering polymer, measuring approximately 9.5 x 8.51 cm (3.74 x 3.35 inches). It features a wear-resistant thermoplastic housing designed to withstand repeated heating cycles and prolonged moisture exposure. Compatible with washer/dryer models using part numbers AP4578642, PS4204673, and 2068316, it replaces DC31-00098A rotor position sensors. The sensor enables precise detection of drum spin direction and rotation status, helping resolve spin errors, water level misreadings, and mechanical vibrations. Ideal for use in humid basements, dry attics, or compact laundry rooms where environmental stability is challenging.
