Montane Minimus Hybrid Jacket
Constructed from a Pertex Shield+ fabric that provides exceptional breathability at 25,000 MVTR with a 20,000mm hydrostatic head and micro-taped seams throughout, the Montane Minimus Hybrid Jacket provides a breathable and protective shell that envelopes the wearer, shielding them from inclement weather. 60 gram PrimaLoft Silver Eco insulation retains heat consistently and allows the garment to insulate the wearer without adding bulk.
The patterning and design has been technically tailored to prevent the hem from riding up as a consequence of raising the arms whilst articulated arms with engineered tailoring prevent seams from constricting the elbows and biceps.
The hood can be adjusted at three separate points and can be worn over a climbing helmet whilst an accompanying visor - stiffened with a wire on the lip - directs any surface run off away from the face. An internal elastic loop and hook on the rear of the hood use compression drawcords to roll it down and stow it when not in use. Operable with a single hand, the adjustable elastic face aperture employs floating cordlocks and an internal drawcord exit to deliver simplicity and improved functionality.
Pockets are designed with deep A-line hand warmers and are constructed with YKK reverse coil zips with storm flap protection. The left arm sleeve pocket boasts a YKK AquaGuard matte zip whilst an additional external sleeve pocket features a shaped zip garage to prevent further weather entry.
A YKK AquaGuard centre front zip possesses the same impressive water resistance as those that adorn other parts of the jacket, whilst a two way construction allows easy access to climbing or rucksack harnesses and/or trousers. Dual, angled core body vents positioned under the arms and upper back - also with YKK matte AquaGuard zips - provide increased airflow and temperature regulation. A bonded, brushed microfleece material surrounding the inner collar sits comfortably against the mouth and chin and provides a comfortable, irritation free experience whilst a roll over beardguard prevents the zip from contacting these areas.
The lower hem is constructed with an adjustable aperture that prevents weather entry and heat loss. MONTANE penny cordlocks on the lower hem sides provide streamlined comfort underneath a climbing or rucksack harness.
