Nylon Window Seal Zip Adhesive Fit

Measurements: designed for windows with combined length of left, right and top frame edges ≤400 cm. Fabric: 210D ripstop nylon — abrasion-resistant, mildew-resistant and dimensionally stable. Fastening: industrial-grade hook tape (loop side on window, hook side on seal) — tested for 50+ peel/reapply cycles. Zip: #5 coil, brass-reinforced puller, corrosion-resistant teeth. Performance logic: blocks convective heat gain by eliminating the chimney effect at the window gap — hot exhaust air is directed cleanly outside, while cool room air remains undisturbed. The nylon’s low thermal conductivity further reduces conductive heat transfer across the seal itself. Hook tape bond strength exceeds 12 N/25 mm on clean uPVC — sufficient for UK wind loads up to Beaufort Scale 4. Application scope: verified on tilt-first windows (e.g., most UK new-builds), side-hung sashes (common in Victorian/Edwardian homes), and fixed-lift variants. Not recommended for windows with deep rebates (>45 mm) or irregular curved frames.
