OEM-Compatible 12HP Engine Carb

This carburetor replaces Briggs & Stratton part numbers 491026, 281707 and 491031 on 12HP horizontal-shaft engines. Dimensions and port locations match original specifications exactly. Made from corrosion-resistant zinc alloy with brass internal components including throttle shaft and needle seat. Total assembled weight: 0.45 kg. Comes with full gasket set and mounting hardware. Delivers reliable fuel metering across RPM range by replicating OEM airflow dynamics and jet sizing. Improves engine responsiveness and reduces rough running caused by inconsistent mixture delivery. Designed to function reliably in variable ambient temperatures and humidity levels typical of UK garden and workshop environments. Suitable for residential and light-commercial applications including ride-on mowers, log splitters, water pumps and portable generators using Briggs & Stratton 12HP engines. Intended as a maintenance part for owners addressing poor starting, black smoke, or erratic idle after extended use or seasonal storage.
