Replacement touchpad built to match the mechanical and electrical specifications of the original Apple part used in the 2018 MacBook Pro Retina 13.3-inch (A1989). Includes identical PCB layout, flex cable length and pitch, and glass surface curvature. Weight: ~12.3 g; thickness: ~2.1 mm. Material composition includes borosilicate glass top layer and copper-based sensor traces beneath. Verified for compatibility with macOS Mojave through Sonoma when installed correctly. Each unit is powered and tested under real-world conditions — checking for dead zones, jitter, and inconsistent palm rejection.
