Omnidirectional Wind Direction Sensor

This omnidirectional wind direction sensor captures true 360° azimuth data from 0° to 359° with ±3° accuracy and 1° resolution. Built in durable ABS plastic, it measures 223 × 190 × 70 mm and weighs approximately 375 g. It runs on DC9–30V power, uses RS485 for Modbus RTU communication, and draws no more than 0.48W. The sensor activates at very low wind speeds (≤0.8 m/s), maintains stable performance between −35°C and +60°C, and handles humidity up to 100% RH (non-condensing). Its IP64-rated enclosure protects against dust and water splashes. A 0.8 m colour-coded cable (red/black/yellow/green) supports both power and RS485 signal connections. Installation requires a 3.2 mm aperture and accommodates a 15 mm aerial mast — allow 25 mm clearance for wiring before securing. Commonly deployed in gardens, greenhouses, marine vessels, weather stations, airports, laboratories and agricultural monitoring systems.
