The puller operates via sequential threading: first the headgear engages the crank spider, then the ejector rod advances linearly to apply pure axial pull — avoiding lateral stress on the bottom bracket. The sleeve fits securely around standard British-thread bottom brackets for stable wrench contact. The chain cutter supports 7–12 speed chains with zero-slip jaw grip and calibrated pin travel.
